Triglycerides not Guilty

Triglycerides not Guilty

What is Triglycerides ?How it effect our body?
Triglycerides are a form of fat derived from fatty acids and sugar (glucose). They compromise a large portion of fat in our body.

High levels of triglycerides have been implicated as the cause of heart attack. This is untrue. Elevated triglycerides are due to excess sugar consumption. As sugar is consumed, glucose levels increase in the liver. The result is an increased output of sugar derived triglycerides.

That is not all. Excess sugar consumption over long periods of time promotes plaque build-up in the mechanically stressed regions of the heart - heart attack results. Triglycerides are innocent bystanders. The real killer is sugar. Corporate America works tirelessly to obfuscate this from parents and children.

This is not medical advice. Medical diagnosis and treatment is constrained by law to be the monopoly of state licensed practitioners.

Low-Cost Cardiovascular Cure

For living a wellness life, wise investing serves as a security blanket - in an insecure world - for family and future. It allowed us to escape an arduous nine-to-five career .And making wise investments in you health -probably the biggest and most rewarded investment you ever had,It always one of the most important things in your life.Talk about the foods you eat and the activities you engage in ,would you spend little bit more money on getting a quality products.

This is the fact, your health is an investment. Possibly the most important investment you will ever make. If you invest in it now, you can see big returns in the future. If you don’t invest in your health, it could cost you big time down the line.

According to a recent report by CNN Money,

"The retirement health tab can run between $64,000 and $122,000 for a 65-year-old man whose former employer pays his insurance premiums, and between $86,000 and $140,000 for a woman of the same age. For retirees who don't have access to an employer-offered plan, the costs - mostly for prescription drugs - run even higher.”

In addition to these exorbitant drug expenses, most Americans have one foot in the grave. Obesity, heart disease, diabetes and cancer are at an all time high. And it's expected to get worse!

The Journal of the American Medical Association predicted that one in three born in the year 2000 will succumb to type II diabetes, which is simply a "gateway" disease to all the pandemic killers. This rampant sickness is being met with an arsenal of cholesterol-lowering drugs, blood pressure meds, anti-depressants, and hypoglycemics. None have been proven to increase lifespan - just toxic and ineffective. Yet, they are continually pushed upon us for one reason: Financial gain.

Health doesn't have to be so damn expensive or risky. Science proves this. Mother Nature provides four cardiovascular cures that cost next to nothing. Combined, they can help us overcome a weakening heart and even type II diabetes.

Low-Cost Cardiovascular Cure #1: Psyllium Husk.
Psyllium husk is a soluble fiber, meaning it is an indigestible, complex carbohydrate. Once consumed, it undergoes fermentation in the large intestine, yielding a broad range of heart-healthy benefits, most notably the control of appetite, blood sugar and insulin.

A pooled analysis of 10 prospective cohort studies of dietary fiber intake in the US and Europe found that each 10 grams/day increase in total dietary fiber intake was associated with a 14 percent decrease in the risk of coronary events, such as myocardial infarction (MI), and a 24 percent decrease in deaths from coronary heart disease.

Psyllium husk is one of my favorite supplements due to its ability to help control blood glucose. Excess glucose in the blood stream can cause heart disease for its ability to become "oxidized." This oxidation leads to a change in the molecular structure of glucose - causing what is known as advanced glycation end products or AGE-products. Like a knife carving clay, AGE products scar arterial walls. The scarring results in plague buildup and excess blood clotting. This mechanism is why diabetics have a 4.5 times increase of suffering from heart attack and stroke relative to non-diabetics.

Go to your local health food store and purchase psyllium husk. This will cost you no more than a few bucks. In the bulk isle, psyllium can be purchased for about $3 per month.

Low-Cost Cardiovascular Cure #2: B Vitamins.
These vitamins are required for proper functioning of the brain, nervous system, and the formation of blood. They are also involved in the metabolism of every cell of the human body, especially for proper DNA synthesis and regulation, but also for fatty acid synthesis and energy production. Harvard researchers writing in the Journal of the American Medical Association stated that women could cut their risk of heart disease by half with daily consumption of B vitamins.

B vitamins are responsible for igniting a chemical cascade within the body known as methylation. This process rids the arteries of the damaging molecule known as homocysteine. The lower your levels of homocysteine, the less risk you have of suffering from cardiovascular disease.

Start supplementing with B vitamins today. A daily B vitamin supplement should cost no more than $10 per month.

Low-Cost Cardiovascular Cure #3: Flavonoids.
These are plant derived pigments. Over 4,000 have been studied for their cardiovascular and anti-cancer benefits. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition reported a 20 percent decrease in heart disease mortality risk among those who consumed at least 7.5 mg daily.

Flavonoids preserve the cardiovascular system and heart by three major actions: improving blood flow in order to enhance oxygen and nutrient delivery throughout the 100,000 miles of adult veins, arteries and capillaries, preventing the formation of artery-scarring, oxidized LDL, and relaxing the coronary arteries to prevent high blood pressure.

Make sure your shopping cart is loaded with food that are packed with flavonoids. The best sources of flavonoids are broccoli, hawthorn, grapeseed extract, black tea, citrus fruits, and organic dark chocolate.

Using these three cardiovascular cures to preserve health rather than drugs is a wise investment. It could potentially save you $64,000 in drug costs. What could you do with an extra $64,000 and good health? For me, it is more education, snowboarding, and of course Date Nights in exotic places around the world.

Common Drugs that Make Us Fat

Alternatives to Prescriptions that Make Us Fat

Commonly used prescription drugs can drastically interrupt metabolism. When used long term (6 months or more), these drugs can elicit morbid obesity and negate the benefits of any fat loss plan! Users are sure to become honorary members of the Fat Cow Hall of Fame.

The most common of the obesity-inducing drugs are those used for birth control, depression (SSRI's and antipsychotics like Zyprexa), type II diabetes (sulfonylureas such as Amaryl and thiazolidinediones such as Avandia) and high blood pressure (beta blockers such as Atenolol).

All of them, in one way or another, lead to increased amounts of our fat storing hormone insulin. The alternative to birth control is obvious, but the others are not so apparent.

The natural alternative to anti-depressants like Prozac™ is interval training, proper sun exposure, SAMe and the essential amino acid L-tryptophan.
Type II diabetics can successfully use the above lifestyle habits as well as the banaba leaf, green tea, and cinnamon – after undergoing a"$1.41 Cleanse" found at http://www.youtube.com/thepeopleschemist

Blood pressure meds are notorious for increasing our waistline. They disrupt the activity of a family of molecules known as catecholamines, which are responsible for activating fat metabolism – lypolysis and thermogenesis.

Blocking their activity with blood pressure meds leads to massive fat storage and loss of energy.

Many people fear getting off blood pressure medication. It doesn't have to be like this. High blood pressure is not an instant death sentence. In fact, sometimes it is a normal process of aging that results from an increased need for oxygen and nutrient distribution.

It is completely natural for the first number to be 100 plus our age. For example, 160 systolic reading is perfectly in range for a 60 year old. Taking drugs to lower it to 120 would only lead to negative side effects like lethargy, obesity, diabetes and even early death.

The goal of maintaining a blood pressure at or near 120/80 or more recently 115/75 is based on drug company hype, not science. Such low recommendations ensure that healthy people are converted to patients.

If high blood pressure does exist beyond the above parameters, it can be controlled naturally. Getting off sugar and artificial flavors is among the best things you can do to obtain normal readings.

In situations where high blood pressure becomes threatening, using cardiovascular nutrients such as L-arginine combined with magnesium aspartate and a 95% grape seed extract (see http://www.health-fx.net) can serve as a potent natural remedy. Hawthorn can be a potent addition too.

Combined, these nutrients allow for relaxation of arterial walls and proper blood viscosity (the prevention of blood clots). When this happens, pressure is released and blood flow continues without interruption.

Heart attacks and stroke that may result from decreased blood flow or inflammation caused by "high" blood pressure are greatly prevented by these safe and natural "cardiovascular preserving" nutrients.

Don't let your life be compromised with prescription drugs. Logic dictates, "go natural first." This will ensure perfect physique and longevity.
